Guardia Systems, the leading single-source technology provider for a full range of financial and security services, and in partnership with Oracle, the American multinational provider of enterprise cloud computing, has sponsored one of the most landmark events happening in Iraq entitled “Iraq: A Leap Forward 2018″ that took place in Baghdad on 5 and 6 December under the official patronage of the Government of Iraq.
The summit was an opportunity to discuss Iraq’s major projects and to network with a large array of investment professionals, multinationals and corporate executives.
During his intervention, Ziad Monla, CEO of Guardia Systems, has revealed the implementation of Oracle Flexcube Core Banking Solutions Project, the largest of its nature in the history of Banking in Iraq, that was signed with Al Rafidain Bank, the largest state-bank in Iraq.
Mr. Monla has praised this achievement adding “Guardia Systems will help Al Rafidain Bank taking an important step forward in streamlining its business operations to improve service delivery and enhance the customer experience across its networks with new age banking platforms that address the bank’s sophisticated needs”.
He added, “The project consists of the implementation of a complete team for all the phases including onsite and offshore coverage. Guardia Systems’ Oracle certified engineers are charged with designing, supplying and implementing the system, as well as providing full training for Al-Rafidain staff to migrate from the existing system and operate on Flexcube”.
At the end of the conference, Mr. Monla and Mr. Alain Nohra, Country Manager Oracle Lebanon and Iraq, have invited Dr. Khawla Talib Jabbar, Chairman, and CEO of Al Rafidain Bank, on stage and offered her a trophy in recognition of a long-lasting business partnership based on mutual trust among the three companies.
