Guardia Systems, represented by its CEO Ziad Monla, was honored during one of the most prestigious events organized by Rafidain bank to celebrate the 78th year for the foundation of the bank at Rotana Babylon Hotel in Baghdad.
In presence of the CEO and Chairman Dr. Khawla Talib Jabbar, the bank’s team and the leading TV, radio and newspapers in Iraq, Mr. Monla was awarded a trophy in recognition of the outstanding revolution Guardia Systems was able to undertake in changing the complete metamorphosis of the bank and digitizing its banking activities.
Guardia Systems, and in partnership with Oracle, the American multinational provider of enterprise cloud computing, have undergone a massive transformation in the infrastructure of Rafidain. They designed and implemented the latest release of Flexcube Core Banking Solutions project, the largest of its nature in the history of banking in Iraq.
During her speech, Dr. Khawla praised the enormous work that Guardia Systems has done to help Rafidain Bank replace traditional banking methods with modern and sophisticated systems to align business processes across different branches of the bank and create a friendlier banking experience for customers.
She also praised the professionalism of the team for their dedication and contribution to this project. Oracle certified engineers from Guardia Systems are charged with implementing the system as well as providing full training for Rafidain staff to migrate from the existing system and operate on Flexcube.
From his side, Mr. Monla praised the partnership with Rafidain for this joint success in this unprecedented evolution in the banking sector in Iraq that is in line with the Iraqi government vision in this industry.
He also talked about the success of the Group in Iraq that is very active in different sectors since the last 2 decades.
Mr. Monla concluded his speech by reassuring the long-standing valued partnership with Rafidain bank and the commitment of Guardia Systems to invest and support leading to the successful deployment of e-banking in Iraq.
