Guardia Systems is pleased to sponsor the Empty Quarter expedition that will be held in March 2016 by Maxime Chaya, the prominent Lebanese sportsman, mountaineer and explorer. From the mountain peaks through the Arctic poles and the high seas, Maxime is now ready for the desert.
Growing beyond his potential yet again, Maxime, along with his teammate Steve Holyoak, a British ultra-marathon runner, will be crossing one of the largest contiguous body of sand desert in the world from Abu Dhabi to Oman on bike, unassisted. Something that has never been done before, a world first. The 1200 km leg should be completed in less than 40 days.
Guardia Systems, along with Nestle, Nescafe, Libanpost, Dar Al Handasseh and Midis are the main sponsors.
Once again, Maxime excels and portrays Lebanon and the Lebanese people’s attitude to the rest of the world falling in his basic principle Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country”.
As we found ourselves sharing this same principle, we are delighted to support Maxime achieving one more time another success in raising the Lebanese Green Cedars!
