Position: Account Manager
Location: Iraq Base: Baghdad
Job Summary: The Account Manager will oversee operations for the airport/security products unit in Iraq. This role involves managing client relationships, coordinating sales and logistics, and ensuring the efficient execution of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with airport authorities, government agencies, and key clients.
- Lead sales initiatives and secure contracts for baggage scanners, cargo equipment, and related solutions.
- Explore and establish innovative sales channels, such as collaborations with financial institutions for leasing models and integration with local B2B platforms.
- Oversee the installation and maintenance of security equipment, ensuring compliance with client expectations.
- Coordinate with Supplier and local distributors for seamless operations.
- Build and train a dedicated sales and technical support team to increase market reach.
- Supervise the local team and provide training to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor industry trends and identify new business opportunities in the region.
- Prepare reports on sales performance, market activity, and operational milestones.
- Collaborate with marketing to organize events, product demos, and training sessions tailored to client needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in account management, sales, or operations within the security, aviation, or logistics sector.
- Strong understanding of airport security and cargo equipment.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with Iraq’s business environment, including government regulations.
- Proficiency in Arabic and English is required.
