Scope
- Managed multiple projects for the Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) aimed at pioneering the implementation of cutting-edge technology solutions.
- Supply and installation of X-Ray Hand Baggage Scanners, Walkthrough Metal Detectors and Handheld Metal Detector.
- Provide Microchip NTP Server with cables and antenna kit.
- Configure and install the above component.
The project includes the following works
- An Oracle Exadata Database Machine solution, which hosts the entire critical database of the bank, for the main data center and disaster recovery center. It was equipped with an Oracle Active Data Guard Replication solution to allow an active-active high availability solution.
- An Oracle Private Cloud Appliance (PCA) was designed and installed, as the first of its kind in Iraq. Installation at the Main data center, as well as one for disaster recovery, which are fully redundant and host some of CBI most critical applications.
- Supply, installation, and Configuration of the top-tier NTP server along with accompanying accessories from Microchip to CBI. This NTP solution seamlessly synchronizes timekeeping throughout CBI’s ecosystem, encompassing Windows OS, Linux, CCTV systems, and other components. By streamlining time management, the network will achieve precise synchronization, guaranteeing accuracy for transactions and all internal operations.
